Here's a nice 4070 build with some solid supporting hardware that creates an amazing 1440p gaming PC! This build features the Intel i7 13700KF, which comes packed with 16 core and 24 threads, and it pairs nicely with the 4070 from Gigabyte to create a medium-high refresh rate experience for 1440p gaming. Specifically in Esports titles, you'll have no problems with this build hitting maxed out FPS in all Esports titles, and in AAA titles depending on the game, you'll want to take advantage of Nvidia's upscaling technology to hit those high FPS numbers, but even without it, the 4070 handles it great!
This PC is from the prebuilt company Powerspec, which is MicroCenter's in house custom PC brand. We purchased this PC as a local trade-in, gave it a deep cleaning and also replaced the thermal paste, and ran it through testing to ensure its in perfect condition for its new home! Windows 11 Pro has been installed and activated. Wi-Fi is integrated into the motherboard, so no adapter is needed if you plan to use Wi-Fi.
Note: The i7 does reach higher temperatures at max load with a 240MM liquid cooler, however in most games, this CPU will not be under 100% load.
